BMW M3 Convertible Hydraulic Cylinders : BMW Repair Denver
This 2004 BMW M3 convertible has 6 separate hydraulic cylinders that actuate the top and the cover plate for the top. The cover plate cylinders stared leaking on this car and damaging the interior. As the fluid leaks out the pump can be damaged and the top will stop functioning. The cylinders are sold in sets with the hydraulic lines attached. The entire top must be removed, the covering peeled back to accomodate the hydraulic lines and the system must be bled.
