As Porsche continues to come out with new hybrid and soon all-electric cars we are constantly training to keep on top of the latest technology. We are also updating our diagnostic equipment and service information to handle these newer technologies. Sal was factory trained at BMW to work with hybrid cars and is expanding that knowledge here as he uses our factory information to safely maintain this Porsche hybrid electric Cayenne.
2012 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid came to the shop with the check engine light on which was due to faulty catalytic converters. With faults P042000 and P043000.
Prior to starting the work, as a safety measure we had to disconnect the high voltage battery.
High voltage battery located underneath of the trunk cover. The orange wires are high voltage, underneath of the square connector is the switch to disconnect the HVB.
